The Ist Congress of Therapists and VI Congress of Cardiology of Kazakhstan was organized by the Eurasian Association of Therapists (EAT) in conjunction with the Kazakhstan Society of Cardiology. Prof. Gregory Arutyunov from Russia was the President. The event took place at the premises of the Rixos Hotel in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan from June 3-6th, 2014
This event gathered internists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Russia and Bulgaria with the participation of EAT associated countries that contributed to increase the assistance to nearly 2000 participants.
The Scientific Program covered a wide spectrum of internal medicine topics and gathered representatives of nearly all the region and Europe.
Among the speakers where Professor Roberto Ferrari (Italy), Prof. Jan Pirk (Czech Republic), Prof. Robert Hatala (Slovakia), Prof M. Seyluk (Ukraine); Prof Petar Seferovic (Serbia); Dr. G. Stefanini (Switzerland); Dr. Tatsuo Shimosawa (Japan); Dr. M. Mamedov (Russia), and Dr. Rodolfo Bado (Argentina), invited as speaker and highly regarded as ISIM President, lecturing on "Pulmonary Embolism". Additional speakers took part from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Austria, Uzbekistan, Turkey, UK, Belarus and Bulgaria.
It was a very well organized Congress with intense participation of the audience, and well conducted to offer relevant updates in internal diseases.
